COOK, FREDRICK FRANK, age 91 of Highland Township, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Fredrick was born on June 2, 1930 in Detroit to parents Frank and Ileen (nee Nelson) Cook. Loving father of David (Blossom) Cook, Charliene Lutomski, and Helen (the late James) Fulton; proud grandfather of Fred, Heather, Joseph, and Julie Ann; great-grandfather of Mark, Alex, Andrew, Autumn, James, Great-Great Grandfather of Skye, and A.J. Fredrick is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fredrick was preceded in death by his wife; Imelda Cook, his son; Larry Cook, and his three siblings. Fredrick was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Fredrick worked as an ironworker for Commercial Construction and was a member of the Ironworkers Local 25 for 70 years. He was also a member of the snowmobile “Snowmads” group and the Livingston Gun Club where he competed in shooting competitions and participated in the Second Chance firearm competition. Fred was also an accomplished woodworker. The Cook family will accept visitors on Monday October 25th from 4:30 until 7:00 pm at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford. The family will receive friends Tuesday October 26th at noon until time of service at 1:00PM at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford. Fredrick was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
