Emmett Ronald Hundley, of Lapeer and formerly of Pontiac, passed away on November 17, 2025, at 64 years of age. He was born on December 7, 1960, in Pontiac, Michigan, to loving parents Emmett Mason Hundley and Freda Josie Hundley (née Sewell).
Emmett proudly graduated high school through the VOCARE program, an achievement he held close to his heart. He went on to work at New Horizons, where he dedicated many years as a skilled tailor until his retirement. Emmett’s craftsmanship, patience, and attention to detail made his work truly special. A man of deep and steadfast faith, Emmett attended Flint Driven Church. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and kind heart touched everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Freda Hundley; his sister, Diana Hundley; and many nieces and nephews, especially Aaron, Melody, Jared, Shelby, Dayton, Graycie, Brody, Nollie, and Jimmy who were always there to help him whenever he needed and will forever cherish his memory. Emmett is preceded in death by his father, Emmett Hundley, and his brother, James Hundley.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5–8 PM at Coats Funeral Home – Waterford (3141 Sashabaw). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 12 PM at Flint Driven Church (2901 Brown St., Flint), with family receiving guests beginning at 11 AM. Emmett will be laid to rest at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11 AM.
