Eileen Tindall-Diegel, 86, of Davisburg, Michigan, passed away on September 14, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 16, 1938, in Fenton, Michigan, Eileen was the daughter of the late LeRoy Tindall and Barbara Crawford.
Eileen's life was deeply rooted in the family farm where she was raised. From a young age, she worked tirelessly alongside her family, nurturing the farm and caring for the animals, with a special passion for raising sheep. Her hard work and dedication were a testament to her character. Eileen carried on this legacy by raising her own children on the same farm.
She was crowned Homecoming Queen, Miss Torchy, and Miss Oakland County, reflecting her spirit and charisma. Beyond her accomplishments, Eileen had a zest for life, enjoying activities such as motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, and camping.
Eileen was a devoted mother and grandmother, deeply committed to her family. She played a pivotal role in the lives of her children, Tamara Miller and Marc Diegel, and her beloved granddaughter, Amanda Miller, whom she adored and helped care for so that her daughter, Tami, could return to work. Eileen's love extended to her other grandchildren, Natalie Stocker and Logan Stocker.
Her dedication to family also included her work at the American Legion in Clarkston, Michigan, where she enjoyed serving her veteran friends.
Eileen’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found great comfort and joy at Mt. Zion, where she nurtured her faith and brought her daughter to Jesus.
Eileen is survived by her children, Tamara (Dave) Miller and Marc (Terri) Diegel; grandchildren, Amanda Miller, Natalie Stocker, and Logan Stocker; sister-in-law, Donna Lindsley; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Kathy (John) Izzi, Kevin (Linda) Summers, Diane Lindsley, LeeAnn Lindsley, Lana Lindsley, Don Wick, Dave Wick, and Doug Wick, as well as great-nieces Rachel, Ashley, Katie, and Jenny, and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Tindall and Barbara Crawford; and her siblings, Marilyn Wick, Ida Summers, and Lester Lindsley.
