WEBBER, DOROTHY LEONA, age 99 of Waterford, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1923 in Detroit to the late John and Tillie Crigger. Dorothy retired from GM Truck & Bus after 20 plus years of dedicated service. After retirement she joined the Waterford Historical Society where she was an active member for decades. Dorothy was extremely talented and multifaceted in all of her endeavors. She excelled as a master baker, was a musician and a poet, and enjoyed crafting. More than anything, Dorothy loved her family. She is survived by her loving children: Alan (Dianna) Webber, Denise (Michael) Alter-Tobin, Marc (Tracy) Webber, and Paul Webber; grandchildren: Tonya, Carolyn, Mallorie, Allison, Anna, Leslie, and Owen; great granddaughter: Ella Rose; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Webber, Sr.; sons: Leon “Skip” Webber, Jr. and Craig Webber; siblings: Genevieve (the late Franklin) Letke, Harry (the late Edith) Crigger, and Evelyn (the late Jerry) Riley. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Clarkston. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Coats Funeral Home – Waterford, and again on Tuesday, one half hour prior to mass, beginning at 9:30am. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Waterford Historical Society or a charity of your choice in honor of Dorothy.
