Debra Marianne McLendon

Debra Marianne McLendon of Burton Michigan passed away on September 16th, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1956 in Pontiac Michigan. Daughter of the late  Delbert Eugene Sr. and Maryann May Burnett. Sister of Delbert Burnett Jr., Deniece (Garry) Moler, The late Delora Roberts, and David Burnett Sr. Wife of 33 years to the late Jerry Lee McLendon and mother of Jessica Teague. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. 

Debra was a member of the Faith Baptist church of Davison Michigan. Family was everything to her; for celebrations, birthdays, and anniversaries, she would never forget the day and always gave the best cards.

 Debra worked at GMAC in the financial leasing department for 25 years until retirement where she spent her time gardening, craft making, and spending time with her daughter Jessica. She loved collecting angels and lighthouses in all sizes. 

Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11 AM at Marimont Community Church (424 Walton). Interment will follow at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery. Family will receive guests on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, from 4-9 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON (8909 Dixie HWY). In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society
