Deborah Lynn Boseak, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at the age of 68. Born on March 31, 1957, in Trenton, Michigan Deborah always said her true life began at the age of nine—when she was adopted by her loving family John Henry and Aurelia Evans and brought to Hazel Park, Michigan. It was there, surrounded by her siblings, that she built lifelong bonds that remained unbreakable through thick and thin.
Deborah earned her GED in the 1990s, a personal milestone that set the foundation for a new chapter—starting a family of her own. She was the proud and devoted mother of three daughters and built a life defined by love. A natural caregiver, Deborah dedicated over 20 years of her life working in retirement homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she brought kindness, patience, and warmth to the elderly in her care. Her family lovingly described her as an “organized collector” someone who cherished her treasures and kept everything in its place. With an eye for style, she never left the house without being dressed to the nines—she was a true fashionista. Deborah also had a passion for decorating and gardening, known for her beautiful flower beds and well-kept home. Locally, she was affectionately called “Little Nugget” by the staff at Lakeview Pharmacy on M-59. Her sense of humor was sharp and playful, especially with her brother-in-law Bud, with whom she shared a decades-long tradition of good-natured teasing. She adored her sister Terri’s pets—Dakota the cat and Spike the dog—and had a deep, unshakeable bond with her nephew Buddy, who was always there for her.
Deborah is survived by her beloved daughters, Teasha (Chris) Henderson and Robin (Nick) Flury and son Michael; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her siblings: Terri (Bud) Richert, Gene (Theresa) Price, and Sherry Abate. She is preceded in death by her daughter Dianna, her niece Nicole, and her parents.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Deborah’s life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM.
