FAVAZZA, DAWN MARIE, age 54 of Clarkston passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born on December 8, 1967 in Grosse Pointe to parents William “Bill” and Clementine (nee Ploskonka) Susick.
On January 12, 2022 Dawn lost her courageous battle with ALS. I have lost my beloved wife and best friend in life and for that I am sad today. However, I know Dawn wants us all to be strong for her and keep her in our thoughts every day. She wants us to remember the good times & memories we have all shared with her through life. Dawn is leaving behind her three beautiful children (Alexandra, Nickolas & Brendan) and will miss life's events that will follow, but she will be in our hearts forever. We have all gained an angel today and she will guide and protect us through our living days. Over the past two years I have personally cared for Dawn the best I could and we were able to do some amazing trips to build upon our memories of life. For that I am thankful. Please take the time to learn about ALS and think about helping in some way because this disease is brutal and difficult. I pray that someday there will be better progress made to help patients & doctors to find a cure.
Dawn is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tom Favazza; children: Alexandra Favazza, Nickolas Favazza, and Brendan Favazza; father, Bill Susick, Sr. ; siblings Bill (Angie) Susick, Jr. and Jody (Mike) Knapp; sister-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Gasior; brothers-in-law: Joe (Patricia) Favazza and Jim (Camille) Favazza; mother-in-law, Ruth Favazza; several nieces and nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
