Courtney Bond Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Courtney Elizabeth Bond, 43, of Clarkston, Michigan, on April 4, 2025. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, on March 17, 1982, to Mike Bond and Kim (Donahue) Bond, Courtney was a radiant light in the lives of everyone she met.

Known for her infectious smile, laugh, and boundless positivity, Courtney was truly the happiest person you could ever meet. Her energy lit up every room, and people often found themselves looking forward to her presence at any gathering, as they knew the event would be that much brighter with her there. Courtney had a remarkable ability to connect with others—whether a lifelong friend or a complete stranger—always making people feel heard, valued, and loved.

A natural caregiver, Courtney would go to great lengths for anyone in need. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone else. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and she was always willing to lend a listening ear or offer a helping hand. She cherished the time spent with friends and her family, as well as her beloved dog, Murphy, a Newfoundland who was as loyal and loving as she was.

Courtney's greatest joy in life, however, was her soulmate, Brandon Scheib. The two shared an unbreakable bond, and together they found happiness in the little moments—whether enjoying concerts, watching a Detroit Lions games, or simply curling up on the couch at home. Courtney and Brandon were best friends, confidantes, and partners, creating beautiful and lasting memories together.

Courtney is survived by the love of her life, Brandon Scheib; adoring parents, Kim Bond and Mike Bond; cherished siblings, Josh (Nicole) Bond, Brittany (Aaron) Martinez, and Taylor (Andy) Winiecke; step-children, Sydney and Jameson Scheib; nephew, Gavin Bond; niece, Brooke Bond; her devoted grandmother, Nana; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of Courtney's life will be held at Mr. B’s Roadhouse, 6761 Dixie Highway, Clarkston, Michigan 48346, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, for anyone looking to cherish her, share stories, and express how fortunate we all are to have her in our lives and hearts. The family kindly requests that any memorial donations be made in Courtney's name to the breast cancer association of your choice.

Courtney's love, warmth, and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
