Clifford Allan Robbins

Clifford Allan Robbins, 75, of Waterford passed away suddenly on December 30th, 2024. Clifford, best known to those who loved him as “Al,” was an entirely devoted husband, father, son, grandfather and friend. Al spent all of his time doing for others and was a man of few words to many but a beacon of wisdom for those closest to him. His strong work ethic and dedication to his family will go down as his legacy. 

Al served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971 where he achieved Staff Sergeant status. He was honored to serve his country and did so with quiet pride. Upon conclusion of his service and while building his family, Al went on to gain employment with and retire from Oakland County as an Equalization Supervisor. In this role, he was a mentor to many and was instrumental in implementing various programs surrounding Geographic Information Systems. 

Al is survived by his beloved wife Sharon of nearly 57 years, whom he adored with all of his heart. Cherished son Allan (Wendy) Robbins and precious daughter Cheryl (John) Jacobson along with treasured grandchildren Joshua, Jonah and Landon will miss him deeply. Luna will continue to keep her Daddy’s chair warm in his absence. The many animals he adopted over the years including Bear, Ozzy and others were sure to meet him at the Rainbow Bridge as he took care of any and all species with great love. From dogs and cats to birds and squirrels, Al loved all animals and they were drawn to his calm and peaceful demeanor. 

Al’s life will be celebrated privately with immediate family per his request.
