Christina “GaGa” Ann Torres (Fiske)
February 3, 1952 - May 7, 2026
Christina “GaGa” Ann Torres, age 74, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at her home in Waterford, Michigan, after battling with dementia.
Christina was born on February 3, 1952, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Edward and Irene Fiske. She graduated from Pontiac Central High School. For over forty-five years, Christina dedicated her career to being a housekeeper. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic brought warmth and order to the homes she worked in. This same pride and love for keeping things tidy were evident in her own life, where her home was always a neat and welcoming haven for her family.
Known for her vibrant personality and wonderful sense of humor, GaGa was always ready to crack a joke and bring a smile to the faces of those around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. You could often find her getting lost in a good book, enjoying a movie while snacking on her favorite potato chips, or happily making her rounds at Meijer.
Above all her hobbies, GaGa’s greatest happiness came from spending quality time with her girls. These gatherings were always filled with laughter, shared jokes, plenty of swear words, and the delicious aroma of her cooking their favorite foods.
She also had a deep love for animals and cherished the special bond she shared with her granddogs, Chico and Rico, and her great granddog, Moose. They always brought an extra spark of joy and comfort into her heart, and her butt scratches will be deeply missed by all three of them.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Irene “Granny” (Kajko) Fiske, and her sister, Sandra (Fiske) Colpus.
She is survived by her daughters, Toni and Aimee Torres; her granddaughter, Alyssia McGee; her brother, Daniel Fiske; her brother-in law, Mike Colpus, and many nieces and nephews.
GaGa leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and infectious laughter. She was a remarkably strong woman who approached life with an unwavering spirit and a well-timed joke for any occasion. Her warmth, wisdom, and the beautiful light she brought to the world will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
