Carolyn Jean Edlund

EDLUND, CAROLYN J. (neé Robertoy) of Clarkston, passed away April 17, 2025 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late Arthur Edlund and the late Donald Neilsen; mother of the late Bill (Nancy) McMaster, the late Terri Yovich, and Nikki (Richard) Rey; grandmother of Tiffany (Jon), Amber (Joe), Zac (Andrea), Nick (Ashtin), Presleigh, Jason, Aleigha, J.D., Erika (Joe), and J.T.; great grandmother of 9; sister of Fay Shaw and the late Warren Robertoy. Carolyn was in the first graduating class of Pontiac Northern High School in 1959. She began her career in banking in downtown Pontiac and would hold several managerial positions over the years and retiring as branch vice president. Carolyn was fun, social with an infectious laugh. A long time member of Faith Baptist Church, now The River, she maintained a large circle of friends and social groups of which many were lifelong relationships. She enjoyed dining out; rooting for the Tigers and the Pistons; and nights faithfully watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Her vivacious personality and love of people and her family will be forever missed. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy.
