Carolyn Kay Caldwell

CALDWELL, CAROLYN K. of Waterford, passed away October 31, 2022 at 83 years of age. Born in Homer, Michigan to Joseph and Marjorie (nee Measel) Caldwell; loving mother of Chuck (Sheri) Nichols, David Nichols, Jeff (Sherry) Nichols, and Carmen (Ralph) Campbell; grandmother of Andrea (Rob), Joe, Kristen (Jeff), Ashley, David (Shannon), Jeremy, Jake, Kyle, and Taylor; great grandmother of Luke, Jimmy, Joey, Jeffrey, Madison, Jackson, Hailie, Brently, Carson, Justin, Lily, Emma, Charlie, Elizabeth, and Alayna; preceded in death by siblings Nancy Shrontz and Jerry Caldwell. Carolyn worked in several positions for 30 years for the Waterford School District and for Meals on Wheels. She was a strong independent woman who enjoyed bowling; was a great cook; a country western fan; dog lover; and a wonderful dancer. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 12 noon at Liberty General Baptist Church, 3545 Joslyn Rd, Auburn Hills. Luncheon following service.  Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
