Carl C. Bevins

BEVINS, CARL C. JR. of Waterford, surrounded by his family, passed away March 18, 2025 at 85 years of age. Loving husband of Ruth Bevins for 62 years; dear father of Debra (Keith) Patten and Carl D. Bevins; grandfather of Makenzie and Eli; brother of Richard Bevins; preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mattie Bevins and 13 siblings; survived by his son’s dog and his companion, Buddy. Carl was a hardworking man whose sole mission was to care for his family. He had many occupations throughout his life, an award winning baker for Dawn Donuts, so much so that the bakery made an opening so customers could watch him bake; an expert and professional floor cleaner for Great Scott/Wriggley grocery stores; owner and operator of R.E.B. Professional Floor Service he operated with his wife, Ruth and son, Carl with accounts throughout the county in major retail stores; coat check at Oakhurst Golf Course; and part time floor cleaning sub for Clarkston School District. Everywhere Carl worked he believed in customer service and every place he worked everyone knew his name. A wonderful and loving husband and father who will  never be replaced.
