Brent Michael Fuller, of Traverse City, died November 2, 2021
Born April 29, 1964 in Pontiac son of James Milton and Frieda Maria Fuller. 1982 Graduate of Waterford Mott High School later attending Lincoln Automotive Technical Institute.
Early career Brent worked with friend and mentor Larry Bolten, owner of GM Service Specialist Waterford, then Roush Industries Livonia including the Cart Indy Car series PPG pace car fleet. After this Brent moved on to Bill Marsh Auto Group Traverse City for 23 years and recently his “dream job” Fleet mechanic with Hagerty Insurance Classic Car collection in Traverse City the last two years.
His most important accomplishment was with his wife Linda, raising three daughters. Linda and daughters assured that someone was continuously at Brent’s side during a period of Hospice Care at home where Brent passed peacefully.
He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting and time with family. Brent loved Walleye fishing and getting the big buck. He regularly had fish fry’s, smoked incredible venison jerky shared at gatherings with his friends of which there are many. He was great mentor to people, teaching the art of fishing and mechanics. He loved Country Music and was known to sit by the fireplace with a Molson.
Brent would do anything for anyone at any time and was very selfless. He loved his home, his community and this love was returned in kind by many, many times before, during and since diagnosis of serious illness last January.
Brent is survived by his wife Linda (Slatkin) Fuller married January 30, 1988 in Birmingham, by cherished daughters Lindsay (Seth) Lynch, Christy Fuller and Casey Fuller; his parents, James and Frieda Fuller; brother, Craig (Anne) Fuller; nephews and nieces, Leif (Nuchariya) Fuller, Ryan Fuller, Jennifer Fuller, Matthew (Lindsay) Fuller, Samantha Slatkin, great nephew Erik, great niece Claire; Mother and stepfather- in-law Judy and John Herr (of Grady-White fame); brother-in-law, Russell Slatkin and two grandpups, Luna and Maya.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Scott Fuller and Laine Fuller and father-in-law Stewart Slatkin.
