HUBER, BRENDA A. of Pontiac, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024 at 77 years of age. Loving wife of Joseph Rizzi for 27 years; dear daughter of Helen (née Soken) and the late Kenneth Karns; mother of Gary Huber; step mother of Joseph (Christine) Rizzi, Jr. and Gina Rizzi; sister of Judith McArdle, Ronald (Lori) Karns, Jeffrey Karns, and the late Kenneth Karns, Jr.; grandmother of Morgan, Maya, Matty, Ian, Kainoa and great-grandmother of Xavier; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda was born in Harrisburg, Illinois and graduated from Pontiac Northern High School. She retired from Flagstar Bank after 22 years of service. Brenda loved her church and she was an active member and board member of St. Paul Community Lutheran Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. In her spare time she loved to read and spend quality time with her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her lively spirit, her kindness, and dedication to her family. A memorial service in Loving Memory of Brenda Huber will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11 am at St. Paul Community Lutheran Church, 1133 Joslyn Ave, Pontiac, MI. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brenda’s honor via check to St. Paul Lutheran Church at the service or by mail. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Wednesday or Thursday after 9 am.
