Bernard "Bud" Hunt Obituary

HUNT, BERNARD “BUD”  ANSLEY, age 83 of Orion, passed away in January 2024. He was born on October 11, 1940 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Ida (Hurlburt) Hunt. The founder of Bud’s Sign Shop in Pontiac, Bud was an exceptionally talented artist and he excelled in sign painting, pinstriping, and sculpting. He was able to see art in everything he encountered. Bud also was an avid collector – collecting all sorts of things from tools to cars, motorcycles, and boats. He was a cancer survivor, an animal lover, and enjoyed working outdoors whenever he had the chance. Bud will be lovingly remembered by his children: Barry (Kim) Hunt and Kelly Marchese; grandchildren: Ashley (Corey), Anthony (Matt), Alyssa (Kevin), and Christopher (Amy); and seven great grandchildren. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will be held. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to The Art Experience of Pontiac in honor of Bud.
