Angela Marie Swindlehurst

With a heavy heart the family is mourning the passing away of Angela Marie Swindlehurst Quinn, age 36.  Angela was born on December 21, 1989, in Pontiac, Michigan, to her loving parents, Gary William Swindlehurst and Stacey Marie Murdock. She attended Brandon Township High School and later continued her education by taking classes at Oakland University. Angela dedicated six years of her career to AT&T in Southfield, where she formed many lasting friendships.

Through mutual friends, Angela met the love of her life, Phillip Quinn. Their first date at Kennedy's marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together. They were united in marriage on September 6, 2025, sharing a love built on friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Above all else, Angela's greatest joy in life was being a mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She channeled her creativity into painting and photography, while keeping her body strong through fitness and healthy habits, and lit up every room with her joyful laugh and vibrant attitude.

 Angela enjoyed playing video games, especially World of Warcraft, and loved staying active through working out. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for those she loved. An avid reader, she was currently enjoying the Wicked book series. Music was always a part of her life, with a special love for the pop hits of the 1990s and early 2000s. She was also known for taking the perfect selfie and had a wonderful sense of humor that brought smiles to those around her. Angela was surrounded by a close-knit and loving family who adored her beyond measure. Her warmth, compassion, strength, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Angela is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Phillip Quinn; her cherished children, Kiri, Kacey, and Kameron; her loving parents, Gary William Swindlehurst and Stacey Marie Murdock; her sisters, Krystal, Lindsey, Rachael, and Ashlie; her grandparents, Robin and Theresa Mansfield, and Gary and Cheryl Swindlehurst; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway, Clarkston, Michigan. A funeral service celebrating Angela's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Park Cemetery.

Though her time with us was far too short, Angela's love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
