FERRELL, WILMA BEATRICE, age 82 of Clarkston, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Friday, March 25, 2022 surrounded by her children and her sister. She was born on April 30, 1939 in Bull Creek, West Virginia to parents Paul and Norma Chancey. Wilma loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings. There were always many memories shared and lots of laughter whenever spending time with her. She loved playing card games with her grandchildren, gardening, and arts and crafts. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, yet we rejoice in God's word that it is written, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Wilma is survived by her children: Cynthia Hyde, Paul (Ann Marie) Ferrell, Teresa McBee, and Robin (David) Kessman; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; siblings: Barbara Lemmert, Fleet (Marge) Chancey, and Benjamin (Sonny) Chancey. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Donald Edward Ferrell, and sister, Donna Chancey Rose. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Monday, March 28, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD followed by a luncheon at the funeral home at 2pm. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2-5pm and again on Monday, two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11am.
