of Waterford, formerly of Bloomfield Hills passed away November 14 2018 at 97 years of age. Loving husband, companion, and true love of the late Anita for 67 years; dear father of the late Jeannette Morrison-Marks; grandfather of Heather (Jeff Leintz) Morrison, Chris Marks, Adam Marks, and James (Ruth) Marks; great grandfather of Amelia and Josh; father in law of the late Jack Marks; also survived by father of his granddaughter, Byron Morrison. William was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp WWII. He received degrees from Eastern Michigan and University of Michigan and retired from Pontiac School District in 1978. His extensive career included teacher, principal, developer and director of special education program, pupil personnel auditor for Oakland Schools, as well as a long standing member of Central United Methodist Church since 1942. He and Anita traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and six of the seven continents.br
