BILL' of Holly passed away suddenly January 28, 2016 at 81 years of age. Loving husband of Linda for 62 years; beloved father of Garnet (Kirt) Bowden, William Jr. (Maria) Palace, Steven (Gail) Palace, and Barbara (James) Halterman; grandfather of Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Bowden, Katie (John) Stein; William III, Abigail, Kelsey, Michael, and Jon Palace; great grandfather of Matthew, Christopher and Jacob; brother of Mary (Robert) Bego, and Jo Hayden; brother in law of George (Tamesia) Irwin and Barbara (Hank) Shell. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bill retired from GM in 1983 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Cedar Lodge #60, Pontiac/Waterford Elks #810, and FOP #132. He had many unique interests; astronomy, building his own telescope; electronics, building his own television and amplifier; and mechanical, building his own miniature steam engine. Most important was his sense of humor and love of family.
