MCLAUGHLIN, WILLIAM "BILL", age 77 of Pontiac, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. He was born on July 3, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Thomas and Juanita McLaughlin. Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and retired from GM after 43 years of dedicated service. He will be remembered for always sipping on coffee or tea and for his generous and kind hearted personality. Bill was a wonderful husband and father who gave selflessly to everyone he knew and even those he didn't. Bill is survived by loving wife of 46 years, Patricia McLaughlin; children: Terry Frericks, Saundra (Tony) Ward, and Shannon Gilotte; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; six siblings; and many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as "Uncle Dollar Bill". He was preceded in death by both parents and two siblings. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5-8pm. Interment at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
