HARTMAN, WILLIAM EVERT age 90 of Waterford, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was born on November 6, 1931 in LaGrange, Indiana to parents Evert Samuel and Belva Hanna Hartman (nee Summey). Upon graduating from LaGrange High School, William joined the United States Marine Corps. He met the love of his life Dixie Sue Brown in Sturgis at the skating rink and they were married June 27th, 1953 and together they raised a wonderful family. He worked as a salesman for Kirsch Company for 30+ years until he retired. He was an artist who had many talents: woodworking, oil painting, metal working, architect, Mosaic tile work to name a few. More than anything, he loved his family with all that he had. William is survived by his children: Dawn Sue (Ron) Narczewski, Jeffrey B. (Arienne) Hartman, Lisa Rae (Timothy) Hensley, and Shawn Eric (Sara) Hartman; Grandchildren: Nickolas (Pam) Kelly, Alexandra (Michael), Jacob, Grant (Didi), Lauren (Joe), Abby (Carter) and Katelin. Great grandchildren: Natalie, Nora and Sutton siblings: Velma Green. He was preceded in death by both parents, late wife Dixie Sue Hartman, and siblings Juanita (Edwin), Matthes, Robert ( Betty) (Carolyn) Hartman and brother-in-law Cliff.
