"Bill" of Waterford, passed away, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 76 years of age. Born on April 23, 1943, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, the loving son to the late John and Esther Cochrane. Beloved husband of Kate for 7 years; dear father of Ryan (Kelly) Mackinder, Regan Mackinder, Meghan Zimmerman, and Ashley Mackinder; proud grandpa of Maddy, Grace, Abby, Noah, Wyatt, Mason, and Jane. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving proudly in the U S Air Force. He was employed for many years with Golfsmith Store and enjoyed his days on the links golfing and fishing in the many area lakes. Memorial donations may be directed to First Baptist Church of Clarkston for a new Defibrillator.
