In the early morning hours of Friday, March 18, 2022, William E. Pittman, "Billy", entered eternal life at 80 years of age.  Born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 5, 1941, he is preceded in death by his parents, William and Yvonne Pittman.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; beautiful daughter, Tammy Lynne Speer; cherished grandson Anthony Jacob, (AJ) Speer and Andrea Nolin; devoted brother, James Pittman and sister Julie, (the late Dennis), McLauchlin, many nieces and nephews and friends.

Billy was a veteran of the US Army and retired from GM after 30 years of service.  Following retirement, Billy worked at Pontiac Country Club where he was an avid golfer and spent countless days on the course with his brother and friends.

His life was influenced by his Love of Jesus Christ and he spent most of his time reading his word, sharing the Gospel and writing.

Billy enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting playing baseball, listening to oldies, country and Gospel music and visiting his beloved Porcupine Mountains with his brother and dad.

Above all, Billy was a devoted family man.  He will be greatly missed forever.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows Crescent Hills Cemetery, Waterford. Family will receive friends Monday 4-8 PM.
