MEYERS, WESLEY EDGAR Jr., of Pontiac, passed away May 28, 2021 at 82 years of age. Wesley was born November 15, 1938 in Pontiac, Michigan to loving parents Wesley Sr. and Bertha Meyers (nee Smades); beloved husband of Bernadine Meyers (nee Hopp) for 63 wonderful years this upcoming June; cherished father of Doug (Cheryl), Dennis, David (Paula) and Deanna (Michael Howe); proud grandfather of Doug, Derrick, Josh, Casie, predeceased by David, and great grandfather to 8; dearest brother to deceased siblings Charlotte, Patsy, Gary, and Rita. Wesley served his country in the United States Army. He worked for and retired from Fleet Carrier after 34 years. Wesley met the love of his life Bernadine, through a family member, and he worshiped her until his last breath. Wesley was an avid outdoorsman and a proficient hunter. In his free time, he enjoyed his family and golf. He had a way of taking care of people and was known for his kindness and he never expected anything in return. Wesley's jokes and pranks will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
