Wendy Jean (Strickland) Vichunas, age 71, of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Fort Meyers, FL passed away November 8, 2020 peacefully at home. Wendy was born July 9, 1949 in Jackson, MI to Neil and Norma Jean Strickland. She grew up in Hillman, MI where she was a proud 1967 graduate of Hillman High School. Wendy is survived by her three sons who she loved very much: Joseph, Andrew and Michael Vichunas. Wendy is survived by one grandson Camden Vichunas. She is also survived by her mother, Norma Jean Strickland of Owosso, MI; brothers Roger Strickland of Harrison, MI; Carl (Laurie) Strickland of Perry, MI; sister, Marlene Strickland of Mason, MI.; Special Friend, Mike Kelliher of Rochester Hills, MI; several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends both in Michigan and Florida.She was preceded in death by her former husband Peter Vichunas, father Neil Strickland, sister Fonda Strickland, and sister-in-law Gwen Strickland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a scholarship fund for graduates of Hillman High School through the Community Foundation Northeast Michigan.
