GUNTHER, WARREN THOMAS, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1933 in Pontiac to the late Clarance and Sabelle Gunther. He graduated from Pontiac High School and then joined the US Army. Warren later graduated with his Masters from Central Michigan University. He was a very accomplished man, having been a retired professor, journeyman for a tool and die company, and he had a patent that he sold. Warren loved sports and outdoor activities like football, baseball, golfing, racquet ball, duck hunting, and fishing. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
