KOPIETZ, WALTER J. "JOE" of Clarkston, passed away October 26, 2022 at 75 years of age. Loving husband of Terrie (nee Stroh) and first wife Linda Kopietz Wansedel; dear father of Joseph (Melanie) Kopietz and Andrew (Jeff Atto) Kopietz; grandfather of Samantha and Alex; brother of Richard (Shelley) Kopietz, Timothy (the late Lou Ann) Kopietz, the late Crystal Roberts, and the late Thomas (Mary Jets) Kopietz; uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was a veteran of the US Army and retired from GM-SPO Pontiac after 42 years of service. He was an avid golfer; bowler; and he loved traveling. Joe truly loved basking in the company of others as well as the closeness of his family, extended family, and friends. He was a staunch instigator of "good trouble" that will be deeply missed by all who loved him. At Joe's request, no service will be held.
