of Clarkston, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2016 at 88 years of age. Loving husband of Judith for 8 years and the late Roselynne for 55 years; dearest father of Kathryn (Charles) Turner and the late Dr. Gayl Godsell-Stytz; special grandfather of Garrett (Katie) Turner and Chelsea Turner; great grandfather of Graham and Wesley. Walter was a proud veteran of the US Navy. Walter was a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine for 60 years. He served as the past President of both the Michigan Chiropractic Association and the Pontiac School Board; was also a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army in Pontiac. Walterrsquo;s faith in his Lord was demonstrated in his care for patients, his willing service to the community and church, his mentoring of young people and his love for his family.The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Autumn Ridge and Grace Hospice.
