pWalter Crampton Anderson formerly of Bloomfield Hills, Traverse City and Boynton Beach, Florida, died April 27, 2018, at 96 years of age. Born February 21, 1922 in Detroit, the son to the late Walter S. and Maude Anderson. Beloved husband of the late Adele; loving father of David (Ann) Anderson, Gary (Ann) Anderson, Nancy (Dave) Tigue and Jeff (Dina) Anderson; adored grandfather of Kate, Lindsay, Alyssa, Mark (Theresa), Gavin (Kim), Brady, A.J., Trent, Abby and Kevin. Walter was a longtime Executive with Chrysler, retiring after 22 years of service. He wrote his own autobiography entitled 'Eighty years of Memories'. He loved going to Higgins Lake where he enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and golfing. Walter enjoyed his retirement years in Florida with Adele and many close friends.
