PRESSON, WILLIAM "DUANE" of Waterford, passed away March 11, 2025 at 83 years of age. Loving husband of the late Deborah (née Dick) for 56 years; beloved father of Heather (Al) Swisher and Heidi (Dave) Deo; grandfather of Rachel (Casey), Victoria (Trevor), Shawna (Mike), Summer (Cameron), Krista (Spenser), and Sarah (Joe); great grandfather of seven with two on the way; brother of Shirley (John) Manual, the late Larry Presson, and the late Audrey (Gene) LaBarge; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Duane owned and operated, side by side with his lovely wife, Detroit Suburbon Lawn  Co. for over 60 years. Outside of his business, Duane loved the life he lived on Lake Oakland. Life was full of wonderful parties with family and friends and when not on the lake he could be found on the golf course. He was social, loved to have fun, and his home had an open door policy and a potluck on the lake was never far away. Time was spent up north in Lewiston and winters in Nettles Island, Florida, where everyone knew his name.  His beaming smile and his love for life and fun will be forever missed. We are now comforted in knowing he is with his beloved Deborah. A celebration of Duane's life will be held at a later date. Celebration of Duane's Life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 2-7 PM at 3977 Dill Road, Waterford. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
