BOOM, VIVIAN E., of Sterling, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her family, Friday June 12, 2020 at 79 years of age. Born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 14, 1941, the beloved daughter to the late Herman and Vivian Nichols. She is the loving wife of John F. Boom, whom she married June 27, 1970 in Auburn Hills, Michigan; cherished mother of Martin (Dyanne) Woody, Deanna (Steve) Meadows, John "Randy" Boom, the late Dennis Woody Jr. and the late Lorie Woody; dearest grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 17; dear sister of Nick, Larry, Sheila, the late Ann and the late Chuck. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Vivian was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Skidway Lake. She and John were also members of the 3 County Club, raising money for various children's activities. One of her biggest accomplishments, besides rubbing it in her family's noses, was her hole in one at the Rifle River Golf Course.
