BEADLE, VIRGINIA RAE, age 93 of Waterford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was born in Flint, Michigan on May 13, 1927 and was the daughter of George and Mildred (McPherson) Byers. Along with her siblings, she walked to Tozer Country School and graduated from North Branch High School in 1945. Virginia married her high school sweetheart, William "Bill" Beadle, on July 28, 1945. Together they raised five children. The family moved from North Branch to Lake Orion in 1962 and then made their home in Waterford (formerly Drayton Plains) in 1966. Church was a very important part of Virginia's life and she was actively involved in church. She was a witness for her Savior all of her life. As a homemaker, Virginia was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She was so adventurous that at the age of 93, she was ATVing with her family last summer. She kept up with all of her family on their activities on her Facebook page and enjoyed commenting. At the age of 88, she was nominated by her grandson and was awarded homemaker of the year by Oakland County. Music was a vital part of her life. She taught piano and organ to many students and played both instruments at the churches she attended. Virginia is survived by her five children: Margene David of Flint, Larry (Jan) Beadle of North Branch, Rev. Douglas (Rachael) Beadle of North Carolina, Cynthia (Barry) Lauber of Holton, Indiana, Christine (Ray) Lenardson of Waterford; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; two sisters: Donna Heron of North Branch and Mildred (Rev. Philip) Mitchell of Holland; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978; two grandchildren; a great grandson; three brothers: Calvin, Kieth, and Daniel Byers; two sisters: Audrey Mitchell and Norma Schlaud. A Funeral Service will take place at 12 noon on Monday, March 8, 2021 at North Branch Wesleyan Church, 3164 N. Branch Rd., North Branch. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 5-8pm at The River Church, 8393 E. Holly Rd., Holly.
