Virginia Ann Baker Kunst, 86, passed away on May 14, 2022 at Tanglewood Assisted Living in Fenton, Michigan from natural causes.

Virginia was born December 12, 1935 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Paul & Dorothy Baker. She graduated from Birmingham High School and obtained a Bachelor of Art Degree and a Bachelor of Elementary Education from Michigan State University. She married Bertrand Pomerleau and taught in Holt.

Virginia later remarried. She and Donald relocated to Grand Haven. Virginia was an artist, displaying and selling her art in shows in Grand Haven and Muskegon. She loved to sing and play the piano.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husbands, Bertrand Pomerleau and Donald Kunst and survived by her two sons, Marc Pomerleau (Lynn) and Jon Pomerleau and four grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Pearce and Genevieve.
