of Clarkston, passed away September 26, 2017 at 84 years of age. Loving husband of Sara for 62 years; dear father of Wendy Cork Trim and Brian (Jenny) Cork; grandfather of Brianna, Damian, Devlin, and Mya. Preceded in death by 4 siblings. Vern proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corp in Korea. He retired from the Waterford School District in 1986 after 30 years of teaching and coaching at Waterford Township High School. Vern loved to play golf and enjoyed his years playing and coaching softball. Most important, Vernrsquo;s grandkids were the light of his life. A memorial visitation will be held
