of Waterford passed away June 14, 2017 at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Karen Arenas for 15 years; loving father of Joshua Lessing, Lori Groscost, Christie Arenas, Nicole Arenas, Carla Navock and Carlos Grunow; grandfather of Jan (Jasiu) Sokolowski, Izabella Sokolowska and Henry Arenas; son of Ophelia McCarthy; brother of Ermino (Maria) Toerino, Estella Reyes, Margareta Maldonado, Miguel Maldonado, Raquel Maldonado. Preceded in death by his father Tomas Arenas, Sr. and his siblings Aldelfa (Jamie) Garza and Carlos Maldonado. Tomas served in the infantry division during the Vietnam War in the United States Army and retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant.
