HESS, TOD J. of Clarkston, passed away February 12, 2024 at 58 years of age. Loving son of the late Gail and the late John Hess; dear brother of Larry (Katie) Hess and the late Gerald Hess; uncle of Jackson and Kennedy; best friend of Bridget. Tod was a 1983 graduate of Clarkston High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley University. He was a Sports Information Director, a career in college athletic statistics that spanned over 35 years. A career he loved. Tod was all about sports, any and all sports but his favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings. He enjoyed astronomy; weather patterns; model trains; and collecting sports memorabilia. Trivia savant he was the guy you wanted on your team. He loved his family and adored his niece and nephew. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and colleagues.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 PM.
