ASHER, TIMOTHY "TIM" of Clarkston, passed away March 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was 63. Loving husband of Becky (nee Nevells); father of Joshua (Tetyana) Asher; grandfather of Austin Asher; brother of Pamela (Michael) Nevells and the late Donny (Rosemary) Asher. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Eulene (nee Jackson) Asher. Tim retired from the US Postal Service. Tim and Rebecca were married for 34 years, and their love for each other was evident in all they did with and for each other. He was very protective and proud of his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family boating on their lake and dining out. He loved picking up his grandson Austin from school, taking him to lunch, and talking about the day's events. Tim's hobbies were collecting knives and antiques; metal detecting; and antique cars and trucks. He especially enjoyed watching NASCAR with his son Josh on lazy Sunday afternoons. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 6 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4 PM until time of service.
