PETERSON, THOMAS LEE "TOM, TUG, or TUGBOAT" age 69 of Pontiac, passed away on July 11, 2021. He was born on December 14, 1951, in Pontiac to parents Edwin and Hazel Peterson (nee Buckles). Thomas retired from a lifetime career as an inspector for General Motors. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 72-75 as an electrician, where he traveled to many countries on the Pacific. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, coin collecting, shooting skeet, bowling and some old-time rock n roll. His family, friends, and community will miss him saying "just don't call me late for dinner." Tom leaves behind his: nephews Jeff (Brenda) Hall, Edwin Hall, and Ralph Morris; great nieces/nephews Anthony and Savannah Hall; and his stepbrother Michael Elliot; preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Tim Peterson, Ralph Hall, Charlie Hall, Kay, and Jeff Hall. Private Prayers and military honors will take place at a later date.
