PERKINS, THOMAS K. of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly February 1, 2023 at 73 years of age. Loving husband of Cathy (née Green) Perkins for 40 years; dear brother of Larry (Kathleen) Perkins, Virginia Perkins, and the late Dennis Perkins. Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Barbara (née Laskey) Perkins. Born in Detroit, Tom earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and had a 40 year career in banking retiring from Michigan Commerce as vice president of commercial lending. He was an avid golfer; reader; and an American history buff. Cathy was instrumental in expanding his interests as they traveled the world; an affection for cats; and at home, gardening. In quiet times he enjoyed all TV sports and listening to the Beatles. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 11 AM COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM.
