MURRAY, THOMAS EDWARD, age 54 of Clarkston, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born on April 23, 1968, in Lansing, Michigan, graduated from Waterford Kettering High School and later put himself through and graduated with honors from the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting. Tom worked as an Electronics Technician, working primarily at Selectronics Limited for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his son Owen, and being on the lake, especially with friends and family. He was a talented musician who taught himself to play guitar, was a highly regarded bass player that played in local bands for many years, and he was an unwavering die-hard Detroit Lions fan. Tom will be remembered for his generosity, free spirit, being able to make anyone laugh with his witty sense of humor, and his ability to light up any room he walked into. More than anything, he will be remembered for how deeply he loved his family and friends, especially Owen. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Jane (Don) Oliver and Laurence (Kimberley) Murray; son, Owen Murray; brother, Daniel (Laura) Murray; nieces: Sienna and Chloe; the mother of his son, Leah Bossert; and countless family and friends. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those desiring to may make a memorial contribution in honor of Tom, donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
