Tom' of Clarkston,went home to be with the Lord February 2, 2017 at 69 years of age. Born July 19, 1947 in Pontiac, Michigan the son of the late William and Margaret Fisher. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee. Blackmon) for 50 years. Loving father of Michael (Jennifer) Fisher and Jeffery (Darla) Fisher; dearest grandfather of Michael Thomas Fisher, Samantha Shaffer, and Michelle (Jason) Petker and great grandfather of Chase and Aubrey; dear brother of Butch (Terry) Fisher, Chuck (Sue) Fisher, Gary (the late Ronnie) Fisher and Judy (Terry) Lynn. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Tom worked for General Motors retiring after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U S Army (Vietnam Era) and also the Air National Guard. He was a member of United Faith General Baptist Church in Pontiac where he served as a deacon. In his free time Tom enjoyed golfing and going to the gun range shooting pistols and competing competitively.
