BROWN, THOMAS F. JR. of Clarkston, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 11, 2024 at 69 years of age. Loving father of Andy (Christi) Brown; dear grandpa of Thomas "Tommy" and Jackson Brown; beloved brother of Judy (the late Larry) Ettinger, Richard (Ruth) Brown, Christine (Joe) Strong, William (Barbara) Brown, Rita Brown, and Randy (Noni) Brown; preceded in death by his dear parents Thomas and Betty (née Thomas) Brown, Sr. and sister Suzanne Shelton; survived by the mother of his son, Teresa Vitale. Tom was a 1972 graduate of Waterford Kettering High School. Then in 1979, Tom and his dad founded Waterfall Jewelers in Waterford, today is a third generation business that grew as the township grew and the family grew. Tom became a partner in the Fountains Golf & Banquet in Clarkston which worked out very well for Tom as he loved to golf and would spend every Wednesday golfing with Andy. Over the years Tom was involved in several community organizations and fund raisers. His joys in life were golf; sports; and time with his grandsons. A man of routine, and loyal to his family and inner circle of friends. His presence will be forever missed. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford. Burial follows All Saints Cemetery, Waterford. Family will receive friends Sunday 1-5 PM and Monday 3-7 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON and Tuesday 9:30 AM at church until time of mass.
