BAKER, THOMAS CHARLES age 85 of Grand Blanc, formerly of Grayling, passed away March 12, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1936 in Detroit to parents the late John Frances and the late Dorothy Helena Baker (nee Prindle); Thomas was raised in Oak Park and attended Shrine Catholic High School, graduate of 1954. Immediately following high school, Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army. He managed and eventually would retire from CE Gleeson Construction Company. In his free time, he enjoyed being on the golf course with his buddies. He attended Gaylord Evangelical Free Church and was a member of the Moose club, Eagles and Knights of Columbus. Tom is survived by his wife Corrine Baker (nee Chamberlin) married for 59 wonderful years; children: Shannon (Bill) Comstock, Daniel (Gayle) Baker and Brandi Hyatt; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother Robert (Geraldine) Baker. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Jr. and one of his cherished grandchild Katlyn. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
