SCHMIDT, SUZANNE E. "SUE" of Clarkston, passed away June 28, 2022 at 72 years of age. Loving wife and high school sweetheart of Christian for 54 years; dear mother of Suzan (Ken) Dean and Christian (Bryanne) Schmidt III; grandmother of Zach, Kylee, and Kyra; sister of Joyce (the late Dick) Shimmin, the late Jerry North, Ben (Judy) North, the late Tom (Sandy) North, Jan (Deb) North, the late Mike North, and Joel (Peggy) North; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was a 1968 graduate of Clarkston High School and worked over 20 years for Clarkston Brandon Community Credit Union as a loan officer. She was a go go dancer and a Job's Daughter all rolled into one. But what really meant the most to Sue, was her family. She enjoyed camping at Higgins Lake; spending time near the water; crocheting blankets for her family; reading Danielle Steel books; and her beloved Clarkston Community. She will forever be remembered for her love of daisies, giraffes, and the never ending love she had for her family. She will be forever loved and missed. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM.
