Suzanne Comps, 90, passed away on January 5, 2021 in Waterford, Michigan. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan and was a resident of the area for most of her life.Suzanne was a proud graduate of Pontiac High School and took joy in attending reunions to see old friends. She also worked at Pontiac Motor before marriage and starting a family. Later in life, Sue worked at First Federal Bank of Pontiac. In her retirement years she helped raise her grandchildren and then returned to the workforce. She spent the next ten years at Canterbury on The Lake in Waterford until fully retiring at the age of 85. Sue was a member of Waterford Oaks Community church where she was led to the Lord and leaves behind many friends.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and cherished parents. Suzanne is survived by her son Dawson Comps (Linda) of Waterford and grand-children Chloe (William), Jillian (Jeremy), Devon and Dawson Jr.Sue devoted much of her time to growing her faith in Jesus Christ and pouring her love into her family. She enjoyed staying fit and was an avid walker often seen walking on her way to Meijer where she loved to shop.A private graveside service will be held at Ottawa Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the 700 Club, Virginia Beach, VA or Grace Centers of Hope, Pontiac, MI. Both were Christian organizations which Sue faithfully supported.
