RICHARDS, STEVEN CHARLES, age 68 of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1953 in Pontiac to parents Charles and Rubie Richards. In 1987 Steven met the love of his life, Ann, and they wed in 2004. Steven was a lifetime musician and played with several local bands, most recently with Magic Bus Band. He enjoyed the outdoors and his dogs. Loving husband to Ann; bonus dad to Tammy (Mark) Baker, Shelly (Jeremy) Heller, and Rachel (Kevin) White; brother to Mark (Cindy) Richards and Lori (Dale Wright) Felker; grandfather to Chad, Denise, Kylee, Gracie, Damien, Anthony, and Gavin. Steven is also survived by nephews: Ryan, Brandon, and Kevin (Rachel); nieces: Megan and Lauren; great nieces and nephew; his dog Mattie, and too many friends to mention. He was preceded in death by both parents. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4-8pm, and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Michigan Humane Society in honor of Steven.
