HOEMKE, STEPHANIE DARLENE of Waterford, absent with the body to be present in Gods Kingdom on December 27, 2019 at 68 years of age. Born January 12, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter of the late John and Iris Forkum; cherished mother of Angela, the late Jeremy and Jason; proud grandmother of Benny, Jake and Violet; dearest sister of Sharon ( Ronald) Mouser, Suzanne (Raad) Abdul-Ahad, the late John Forkum and the late Darrell Todoroff; cherished friend of Terry Suttle, Berta Boyd and Diane McRath. Stephanie went to West Bloomfield High School and graduated from Dexter High School in 1969. She loved life and enjoyed reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Stephanie was a lifelong Christian with a spiritual gift of faith. She was quick witted and it has been said that she had "a mouth of the south". She has finally reunited with her family and friends who have passed in the house of the Lord. Stephanie will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, 2 PM, January 3, 2020 at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD (3141 Sashabaw). Family will receive friends from 12 PM until the service starts. Interment - Perry Mount Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers family requests some support from their loved ones on funeral costs. Stephanie loved her family, her friends and her community and is telling you today to "BE BLESSED".
