With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a kind hearted and devoted family man, Spyros Livieratos, age 95, of Waterford, Michigan who passed away on July 1, 2023. Spyros was born on October 31, 1927 in Lixouri, Greece to parents Dionysios and Maria (Drakodidias) Livieratos. Spyros is survived by his children:  Dr. Maria (David Dobbins) Livieratos, Denise (Michael) Carmean, Dr. Emily (Steve) Vogel ,  his Grandchildren:  Dr. Cassandra (Harrison)Vogel, Nicholas Dobbins, Alexandra Carmean, and Katherine Carmean, his Great-Grandchildren: Hinrich and Elaria Vogel. Spyros is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Chrisanthi  Livieratos, his brothers  Elias (Sia) Livieratos, Gerasimos (Soula) Livieratos, and Robert (Barbara) Livieratos, and extended family members in Greece. With his charitable heart, he played an integral role in developing the community garden at St. George which, over the years, has fed thousands of the less fortunate. In his spare time, Spyros enjoyed making wine, gardening, and repairing cars. Spyros was also a proud and dedicated member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Bloomfield Hills. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00am (visitation beginning one hour prior) at St. George Greek Orthodox Church (43816 Woodward Ave, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302). The Livieratos family will accept visitors on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston (8909 Dixie Highway Clarkston, MI 48348) from 6:00-9:00PM with a Trisagion Service at 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Spyros' name to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church and Assumption Greek Church of Grand Blanc (92245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439). Spyros was loved by many and will be missed deeply.
