ROBERTS, SHERWIN, age 83, of Auburn Hills, passed away May 30, 2023. He was born on February 2, 1940, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Denton and Rowena Roberts (nee Bigelow). Loving husband of Jo Dena for 34 wonderful years; dear father to Mark (Jane) Klug, Denton (Suzanne) Roberts, Tamara (William) Stokes and Lisa (Shelby) Wheatley; proud grandfather of 11; great grandfather of 14; brother of Sue (William) Horn. Sherwin served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He went on to work for General Motors for 31 years. In retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and was a huge University of Michigan sports fan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 12:30 PM at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Inurnment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  Memorial donations in Sherwin's name may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
